Any advice on filling a tiny pinhole (or two)? I tried to carve a tiny splinter/dowel, shove it through the hole and then wick a little CA from the back. I don't think the CA wicked through.

It plugged the hole, but is still noticeable. I used an off cut scrap of the same grain source, but I might just have to live with it.

The pinholes (2) are about 1.5" from the edge on the lower bout. Personal guitar so I could live with it, but I'd know about it

Any way curious as to any solutions/advice.

I'm making a curly cherry guitar now and joined the backs yesterday. TEST
I have a pair of bookmatched worm holes about 1/16" each. I'm just going to leave them. Adds character.

Personally, I like the little 'character features' that make a piece of wood look like it really came from a tree    I'll add, on older guitars I have seen (prewar, etc.) they didn't seem to worry about the appearance as much as we do these days.

Visit Frank Ford's site. He shows how to fix things like this. From your description, it sounds like the holes are round. I don't see any way to fill them with a round plug and not have it visible.

The approach I would takes is to slice an ellipltical piece with the grain around each hole and glue in a sliver of matching wood. Use hot hide glue since that is invisible. I've tried this in the past. Once it worked great, the other time, not so great.

You can say it is "Brazilian" spruce...Brazilian Rosewood almost always has worm holes in it. Ervin Somogyi has built with BRW and left the holes as they were as it proves that it is BRW
